I'm an Art Director and Scenic Artist working across multiple disciplines including Set Design and Construction, Scenic Painting, Poly Carving and Traditional Sculpture.
I'm fast and economical with my practices and materials and have a strong understanding of budget limitations. I can offer alternative cost-effective solutions which won't devalue the final finish.

What do you do?
I actually make and design all sorts of things, including full set builds for feature films and theatre, interior styling, window displays, festival props...whatever you need! Get in touch if you'd like to know more...
Where are you based?
I'm based in Yorkshire, however my work takes me all over the country.
How have you adapted to covid?
I'm able to prep, budget, and crew up remotely from home. I can also give you realistic figures, creative direction and development through email, phone and zoom meets. For on-site scenic work, I carry full PPE and have completed covid awareness on production training.
What skills do you have as a scenic artist?
I love working and experimenting with colours and textures, always trying to come up with quicker and more cost-effective ways of creating effects.
I'm especially passionate about creating natural effects, particularly stone finishes!
I'm often fascinated by the complex colour pallets that exist in natural rock formations. This attention to detail can really make all the difference to a final finish!
Is it just you, or do you have a team?
My experience has equipped me with a strong supporting team of painters and prop makers who can tackle any job you throw at us!
Do you take interns?
Not at the moment, but I'm always looking out for talented individuals! Drop me an email if you're interested in what I do and we can chat over an online brew!
