I love the challenge of adapting to scale.
A change in tools, methods, and materials keeps my job fresh and exciting.
When painting exteriors I pay close attention to the colours and deterioration of every surface before I begin.
I try to retain as much of the natural aging as possible to create a more realistic finish.
Colour matching
I pride myself on my ability to mix to match any paint colour by eye and easily forecast quantities for team use.
I'm fascinated by the colours in nature and specialise in creating stone effects. This attention to detail enables me to paint multiple coloured layers to give the closet natural finish possible.
Working at Height
I'm able to interpret designs easily and work under pressure to meet a deadline.
I have a full scenic kit and IPAF MEWP 3a and 3b license for working at hight.
Aging & Dirtying Down
Check out various scenic techniques in the gallery.
Effects include natural weathering such as water damage, mold, rusting, sun-bleaching, frost, and ice. There are also examples of aged props and poly rocks.
